📜 Terms & Conditions – Rentify Rentals

By booking or using any service provided by Rentify Rentals, the customer agrees to abide by the following Terms & Conditions.

🚗 Rent-a-Car / Self-Drive Vehicle Terms

1. Vehicle Usage & Safe Driving

• The rented vehicle must be driven carefully and responsibly in compliance with Indian traffic laws.

• Only the registered customer (whose documents are submitted) is allowed to drive the vehicle.

• Sub-letting, racing, stunts, off-roading, illegal activities, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

2. Customer Responsibility

• The customer is fully responsible for the vehicle from the time of pickup till final handover.

• Any loss, theft, damage, seizure, or misuse of the vehicle during the rental period will be entirely the customer’s responsibility.

3. Damage Policy

• Any scratch, dent, broken part, tyre damage, alloy damage, interior damage, clutch damage, engine damage, electrical damage, or water damage will be charged to the customer.

• Damage charges will be decided based on actual repair cost + service downtime loss, as assessed by our service partner.

• Security deposit (if any) will be adjusted accordingly. If the cost exceeds the deposit, the customer must pay the balance immediately.

4. Accident Policy

• In case of an accident, the customer must:

  • Inform Rentify Rentals immediately

  • File a police FIR

  • Cooperate fully with documentation

• All accident-related expenses including towing, repairs, spare parts, labour charges, parking, legal costs, and loss of rental income shall be borne by the customer.

5. Insurance Disclaimer

• Insurance (if applicable) is only for third-party liability, subject to insurance company terms.

• Insurance cannot be claimed in the following cases:

  • Drunk or rash driving

  • Over-speeding or traffic violations

  • Unauthorized driver

  • Missing documents

  • Negligence or misuse

  • Delay in accident reporting

• Any amount not covered or rejected by insurance must be paid by the customer.

• Rentify Rentals shall not be liable for any insurance claim rejection.

6. Theft or Total Loss

• In case of theft or total loss of the vehicle, the customer is liable to pay:

  • Insurance excess (if any)

  • Documentation charges

  • Legal expenses

  • Loss of use charges

  • Any uncovered amount by insurance

⛽ Fuel, Challans & Penalties

• The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as provided.

• Any traffic challans, parking fines, toll penalties, or legal notices during the rental period will be charged to the customer, even if received later.

⏰ Delay, Extension & Cancellation

• Late return will attract hourly or daily penalty charges.

• Extension is subject to availability and prior approval.

• No refunds for early return.

✈️ Other Services (Taxi, Flight, Hotel, Visa, Passport, Packages, Portal Bookings)

1. Booking & Payments

• Once the booking amount or full payment is made, the booking becomes non-cancellable, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

• Rentify Rentals acts as a service facilitator/booking agent for third-party providers.

2. No Liability Clause

• Rentify Rentals is not responsible for:

  • Airline cancellations or delays

  • Hotel issues

  • Visa rejection

  • Passport authority delays

  • Acts of God, government policies, strikes, or technical issues

• Any refund (if applicable) will be strictly as per service provider’s policy, not Rentify Rentals’ discretion.

3. Visa & Passport Services

• Submission of documents does not guarantee approval.

• Government authorities have the final decision.

• Service fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
